PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device that allows an influence of noise having periodicity to be removed, and allows presence or absence of a touch operation to be highly accurately determined.SOLUTION: A microcomputer of a touch panel device is configured to: when A-to-D conversion data on a voltage signal to be output by a touch IC is sampled at a fixed period, monitor a variation between data values in monitoring time (S2 to S5); when occurrence frequency of the variation exceeds an allowance value (S6:NO), change the timing sampling the data (S7); and when the occurrence frequency of the variation exceeds the allowance value (S6:YES), sample the data at fixed timing thereafter (S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
