PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device capable of suppressing excessive heating of a switching element, and generating rotary torque on a motor in restarting regardless of a rotation angle in stopping the motor.SOLUTION: A motor control portion connects a stator coil to each of a plus terminal and a minus terminal regardless of a rotation angle of a motor in an ordinary mode in which a rotary torque increase/decrease direction is a direction to enhance rotation of the motor. On the contrary, in a power generation mode in which the rotary torque increase/decrease direction is a direction to disturb the rotation of the motor, the motor control portion intermittently connects the stator coil to the minus terminal N times when the stator coil is connected to the plus terminal, while intermittently connecting the stator coil to the plus terminal M times during the rotation of the motor within a prescribed rotational angular range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
