A sheet is conveyed with no slack between a first conveying path and a second conveying path, thus allowing a high-quality image to be printed on the sheet and suppressing a possible sheet jam. A conveying path with a changeable conveying path length is provided between a first conveying path including a pair of downstream side conveying rollers and a pair of downstream side conveying rollers and a second conveying path including a pair of downstream side conveying rollers and a pair of downstream side conveying rollers.

a first conveying unit configured to convey a sheet through a first conveying path; a first print unit configured to print an image on the sheet in the first conveying path; a second conveying unit configured to convey the sheet through the second conveying path; a second print unit configured to print an image on the sheet in the second conveying path; and a guide unit configured to guide the sheet conveyed through the first conveying path to the second conveying path through a third conveying path with a changeable length.
