PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice section detection device capable of highly accurately detecting a voice section even when noise power fluctuates.SOLUTION: A voice section detection device includes a power calculation part for calculating the input power of an input signal, a first detection part for comparing the input power with a first threshold value generated by using the first smoothed value of the input power to detect a voice section, and a second detection part for comparing the input power with a second threshold value generated by using the second smoothed value of the input power to detect a voice section. The first detection part executes smoothing when the detection result of the second detection part before one unit time is not a voice section, and stops the smoothing to obtain a first smoothed value when it is a voice section. The second detection part executes smoothing when the detection result of the first detection part before the same unit time is a voice section, and stops the smoothing to obtain a second smoothed value when it is not a voice section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
