PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up display system capable of displaying an image which is easily recognizable by a user.SOLUTION: A display unit 20 of a display mechanism 100 of a head-up display system includes a light source unit 206 capable of producing light from which a scan line stems, a scan unit 205 that sweeps light in first and second directions with first and second scanning elements respectively, a processing unit 201 that produces a first driving signal having a frequency consistent with a resonant frequency of the first scanning element 205H, and a drive unit 204 that implements a resonant mode triggered with the first driving signal. The processing unit 201 produces a second driving signal having a variable display wave (TII) dependent on the resonant frequency, a fixed first non-display wave (TI, TIV, TVI) independent of the resonant frequency, and a variable second non-display wave (TIII) dependent on the resonant frequency. The drive unit 204 drives a second scanning element 205V in a non-resonant mode triggered with the second driving signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A |
