METHOD FOR IMPROVING CHARACTERISTIC OF THIOXOTROPIC FORMABLE MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To obtain a thixoformable material having high strength and being easily produced at a very low cost. CONSTITUTION: This is related to the thixoformable material, having laminated one series layers 12 of substantially metallic materials in the order and different characteristic in at least any one among the layers and a method for forming this material. Some layers are made of different materials and provided with reinforcing materials 10 in the other layers and no reinforcing materials 11 in the other layers. The reinforcing material has spherical, fibrous or the other shape and is made of various carbide or the other suitable reinforcing material. The thixoformable material is formed with a cylindrical shape or other suitable shapes and cut off into the necessary volume and/or shape to a forming stage. Such a kind of layered material has the advantage of thixotropical material which improved strength and damaging resistance due to a three-dimensional structure.
