<p>PURPOSE:To establish an ES cell strain in an unlimited animal species and/or strain, and to contrive the improvement in an ES cell strain establishment efficiency and the stabilization in the maintenance of the culture of the strain. CONSTITUTION:A method for culturing an animal embryo in a culturing solution containing an insulin-like growth factor II type or containing the insulin-like factor II type and a leukemia-suppressing factor is employed, thereby permitting to establish an ES cell strain in an animal species and/or strain in which the establishment of the ES cell strain has been difficult. Also in an animal species and/or strain in which the ES cells have been established, the improvement in the ES cell strain establishment efficiency and the stabilization in the maintenance of the culture are contrived by a culturing method using the same culturing solution.</p> |
