摘要 Provided is a hot water supply system which suppresses a heating operation of a combustion-type water heater and realizes a highly stable supply of hot water at a required temperature. A tank controller (41) detects and classifies, into small and large, the remaining quantity of hot water of a water storage tank (31) when hot water supply is started from a hot water discharge pipe (32). The detection is conducted to change a threshold of the remaining quantity of hot water, which is used for classifying the remaining quantity of hot water into large and small, in accordance with the elapsed time from when the heating operation of the combustion-type water heater (10) ends. When the remaining quantity of hot water is large, the heating operation of the combustion-type water heater (10) is not conducted and water is heated through a bypass pipe (34) until the water heating is stopped. When the remaining quantity of hot water is small, water is heated by conducting the heating operation of the combustion-type water heater (10). The hot water supply system comprises: a heating means; a water discharge pipe; a water supply pipe; a combustion-type water heater; a water discharge bypass pipe; a mixture ratio change means; and a bypass valve.
