The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a functional health food, and a feed composition for preventing, ameliorating, or treating non-alcoholic liver disease or insulin resistance, containing ginsenoside F2. According to the present invention, the pharmaceutical composition containing ginsenoside F2 suppresses production and accumulation of fat in liver and increases insulin sensitivity. In addition, the pharmaceutical composition also suppresses expression of inflammatory cytokines in Kupffer cells such as TNF-, IL-1, and IL-6, and also suppresses expression of endocannabinoid synthase, thereby effectively preventing or treating non-alcoholic liver disease or insulin resistance. |
