PURPOSE:To obtain a new gene useful for identifying and diagnosing Bacteroides fragilis. CONSTITUTION:The objective neuraminidase gene of Bacteroides.fragils has a base sequence of the formula. This neuraminidase gene is obtained from a recombinant plasmid [e.g. pOT3054 (FERM P-12326)] containing a genome DNA extracted from the Bacteroides.fragilis as an original microorganism. |
