<p>PURPOSE:To provide a pipe fitting and a connecting device using a ball lock which is a mechanism convenient for mechanical maintenance and also for manipulation, and which can easily clean an O-ring and a contact surface therefor in the field. CONSTITUTION:A pipe fitting for coupling between a male pipe 13 and a female pipe 12 is formed therewith a first seal means 17 near to the male pipe 13, and a second seal means 19 in rear of the first seal means 17. Further, first gripping means 15, 18 for both pipes after the male pipe 13 is completely inserted into the female pipe 12, and second gripping means 16, 28 therefore after the male pipe 13 is slightly pulled out, are provided. The first seal means 17 is effected for the first gripping means 15, 28, but when the second gripping means 16, 28 grips the pipes, the front first means 17 is released while the rear second seal means 19 is effected.</p> |
