PURPOSE:To obtain a high-gloss thermal recording body having no possibility of an occurrence of sticking at the time of recording, a high recording density, and a good contrast. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording body provided with a thermal color- forming layer, an intermediate layer, and a gloss layer on a substrate, a pigment having an average particle diameter 1-3 times larger than the total coating thickness of the intermediate layer and the gloss layer is compounded in the intermediate layer. In this manner, in the thermal recording body, a high gloss is kept, sticking and scratch marks never occur, and the pigment particle is not separated by a slitter or the like. |
