<p>PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency in staple treatment, by a method wherein after any one of a plurality of staple devices is carried out, even if a sheet is not removed from a sheet receiver, the device is controlled so that execution of a staple device different from the carried out staple device is allowed. CONSTITUTION:A copying machine is constituted of a principal parts of a copying machine main body 1, a staple sorter 2 of a sheet treatment device arranged sideward of the copying machine main body 1 and a sheet taking-out device 3 arranged in front of the staple sorter 2. In this case, in the staple sorter 2, the first staple device performing staple treatment to the sheet at the first position, and the second staple device performing staple treatment to the sheet at the second position different from the first position are arranged. Then after either of the first and second devices each is carried out, control is performed so that execution of the staple device which is different from the carried out staple device is allowed even if the sheet is not removed from a form receiver.</p> |
