PURPOSE:To hold the sealing function of the body of a hose joint stably and certainly by tightly enclosing the inside of the joint body perfectly with a plurality of sealing means, and locating the sealing means while avoiding at mounting or removing the hose, the part with scratches generated in the bite-in part. CONSTITUTION:The body 1 of a hose joint 1 is provided with a cylindrical wall 1' with enlarged dia. behind inside of the shaft core. The bite-in part 3' of a gripping means 3 is installed in this dia. enlarged part of the joint body 1. A cover member 2 having an insert hole 2' of the hose P at the shaft core is put in detention with the cylindrical wall 1' of the joint body 1 in such a way as movable in the axial direction within a certain scope. A ring-shaped, first sealing means 5 is interposed in this covering detention part. A ring-shaped, second sealing means 6 for the outside surface of the hose P is furnished in the insert hole 2' in the cover member 2. Thereby the inside of the joint body 1 is tightly enclosed with the two sealing means 5, 6 perfectly, and these means 5, 6 are located while avoiding the part with scratches generated by the bite-in part 3'. |
