PURPOSE:To eliminate waiting time for waiting the end of printing of another person when desiring printing at the document preparation system provided with one printing means and plural document preparing devices. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a spool means 60 for temporarily storing printing data and a printer control means 50 for controlling the entire system at the time of printing between plural document preparing devices 10, 20 and 30 equipped with external storage means 14 for storing document data, input means 12 for inputting characters, editing means 16 for editing documents, display means 15 for displaying document data, temporary storage means 13 for storing temporary data for input, display and editing and control means 11 for controlling these means and between these devices and a printing means 40 for printing document data. Thus, even while the printing means is used, the document preparing device 10 enables input or correction excepting for printing by temporarily storing the data in the spool means 60 until the printing means 40 is made free. |
