An endless conveyer comprises overlapping load-supporting plates, trays or troughs 1<SP>1</SP>, 1, 1<SP>11</SP>, each plate e.g. 1, having at its rear end an axle 2 carrying wheels 3 guided on rails (not shown), and being connected to traction cables 8 by means of a rear cable clamp 9, 12 connected by laterally-spaced links 5 to the axle 2 and by laterally spaced plates 6<SP>1</SP> of a foot cable clamp 9<SP>1</SP>, 12<SP>1</SP> to a shaft 4 on the plate 1, wherein the lower part 12 of each clamp 9, 12 and the lower part of the central piece 18 of each cable connector 15, are formed to correspond in cross-section to the cables 8 so that the cables can pass smoothly round grooved pulleys 20 at driving and reversal positions. The cable connector 15 comprises grooved pieces 16, 17 and 18 clamped together by a nut and bolt arrangement 19. |
