Automatic dough weighing machine

The dough is passed through two rollers on a conveyor belt which deflects together with its structure under the weight until a contact on its structure touches a stationary contact. This stops the rollers and operates two cutter knives which cut the dough off. The belt conveyor is then started to remove the dough which has the proper weight, and the initial position is restored when the dough has left the belt. - To vary the weight setting, the whole structure can be lifted or lowered relative to the cutters by a pantograph linkage. The tare of the belt conveyor is adjusted by a current regulator which acts on an iron plate on the second arm of a lever carrying the conveyor at its other arm. The fine weight setting is done by varying the position of the stationary contact.
