PURPOSE:To maintain the feeding properties of a transfer paper at a constant level by making the timing of the first feeding fast according to the result of the comparison of an average value in the temporarily stopping time of a transfer paper at a resist part with a reference value. CONSTITUTION:This copying machine is provided with a register 61 for holding plural kinds of temporarily stopping time data in each range sent from the resist part, a reference value storage part 62 storing the reference value of the temporarily stopping time, a nonvolatile memory 63 recording time from the start of copying to on of the first feeding and a timer 64 for counting the temporarily stopping time. In this constitution, while plural copies are made in the same range, the additional value of the temporarily stopping time is stored in the nonvolatile memory 63 in sequence and a control part 60 operates the average value of the temporarily stopping time when a prescribed number of copies are made, compares then, the obtained average value with the reference A value stored in the reference value storage part 62 and executes control to make the driving timing of a first feeding part 81 fast according to the result of the comparison. |
