PURPOSE:To prevent a trouble caused by heat of exhaust air by providing a window-opening degree detector and a guide device which announces an abnormal open state of a window. CONSTITUTION:A window-opening state detector 10 is activated when the opening degree of a window reaches the effective width of an exhaust port 8, and a guide device announces an abnormal opening state of the window when an operating instruction is given to an air-conditioner main body 7 with the window-opening state detector 10 remaining inactivated. And, when a user tries to start operation with the window failing to reach an opening degree equivalent to the effective width of the exhaust port 8, a guide device is activated to announce the abnormal state with a voice, an alarm or an indication. Thereby, the user notices the abnormal opening state of the window and tries not to use the air-conditioner with the window in an abnormal opening state. As a result, such a trouble that the air-conditioner main body 7 is damaged by heat of the exhaust air produced when the air-conditioner is used with the window in an abnormal opening state can be prevented. |
