PURPOSE:To automatically arrange the initial setting for respective repeater stations in the same direction by successively switching path switches at respec tive slave stations according to revertive switching information sent from a master repeater station. CONSTITUTION:An ADMA station is defined as the master repeater station and at an E side line overhead inserting part 1, initial setting information to a path switch PSW at each ADM station is inserted to the idle byte of line overhead LoH and sent to a spare line 2. At an ADM-A station, the initial setting information is detected by a line overhead detection part 4, the path switch 5 of the present station is initially set according to the information, and the information is inserted to the idle byte of line overhead LOH and sent to the next C station. Thus, since the path switches of respective slave stations are successively initially set and the initial setting information is transferred to the next repeater station, the initial setting of the path switches at all the repeater stations can be automatically arranged in the same direction. |
