The inner tube and heating jacket of a reactor, which consist of various, difficulty weldable materials are joined by means of a circular disc welded to the jacket tube. The face of the disc which is within the circular chamber has a pressure-relieving recess. At the contact surface between the disc and the inner tube, grooves are turned into the outer surface of the inner tube. A split ring is fitted into recesses in the face of the connecting disc opposite the circular chamber. |
