<p>(A) Compds. of formula (I) Q = (1-4C) NH alkyl, opt. subst. by (1-4C) alkyl, opt. substd. by (1-4C) alkyl, or opt substd. by (1-4C) alkyl. Y & Z = halogen, CF3, (1-4C) alkyl, or (1-4C) O alkyl. x = 2 or 3, & m & n = 0 - 3. (B) Salts of (I). a) C.N.S. stimulants. b) I-Cl3CCO2H salts are herbicides. c) I-H2SiF6 salts are moth proofers. d) I-HCNS salts condensed with HCHO are corrosion inhibiting resins. 6-chloro-4-phenyl-2H-1,2,3-benzothiadiazine-1,1-dioxide (14.6 g), NaOH (8g.), and 2-(4-butylamino)-ethyl chloride. HCl (17.2 g.) in H2O (190 ml.) and EtOH (140 ml.), were stirred 14 h. at 20 deg., dild. with H2O (250 ml), and extd. (CH2Cl2). The CH2Cl2 was dried, evapd., converted to the HCl salt, and recryst. from PriOH, giving I-HCl (6.55 g), m.p. 264 deg.</p> |
