[Also in Division F2] A chimney pipe elbow arrangement (Fig. 1) comprises telescopic tubular members of rectangular cross-section, the first having a chimney pipe connected thereto at right angles and the second which slides over the first having a free end for insertion, for instance, into a chimney wall. In a modification, Fig. 2, the free end of the second member has a flange 9 whereby it is suspended through an aperture in a plate 8 of a connecting piece 7 of circular cross-section. In another modification (Fig. 3) the width of the second member 2 is larger than the diameter of the connecting piece 7 which has channels inserted to fill the gaps so formed. A final modification (Fig. 4) has the second member 2 merging by a tapering section into a chimney piece of circular cross-section.</p> |
