PURPOSE:To provide an air cleaner capable of efficiently creating a comfortable environment in a room. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaning section 3 consists of a dust collector 5, a deodorizer 6 and a firs air fan 7 which makes a draft through those devices, and an oxygen-enriching section 4 is composed of oxygen enriching membranes 8, a vacuum pump 9 and an second air fan 10 which draws a draft through those devices. The second air fan 10 takes in air from a space where the first air fan 7 sucks and discharges air or an another space, supplies air onto the surface on one side of each oxygen enriching membrane 8, and delivers the oxygen-enriched air, which is obtained by reducing pressure on the other sides of the oxygen-enrichment membranes 8, into an air supply duct of the first air fan 7. The air which does not permeate the oxygen-enriching membranes 8 and is low in oxygen concentration is discharged to a space other than the space where the first air fan 7 sucks and discharges air. Thereby, as the total amount of cleaned air is returned into a room, air cleaning is efficiently carried out and the oxygen-enriched air having a high oxygen concentration is delivered along with the cleaned air. |
