The resistor has one or several resistance drives between electrically conducting plates. The plates are fitted with cooling surfaces and have plate-shaped holders. These holders are used for cooling purposes and are provided with slits which extend from the base of the support plate via the side walls to the edge of the plate. The side walls of the support plates extend to about half way along the distance of the resistance disc surrounding it completely. The support plates are fitted with claws to hold the resistance discs into position. The device is air cooled. The resistance discs are stacked and held together by a bolt., also acting as an adjustment spindle. |
