The vehicle has two or more separate radiators(1) mounted in separate collecting cowls formed by bulkheads inside the engine compartment. The warmed air is ducted in separate streams past the engine to exit slots(7) under the base of the windscreen. The airflow is unimpeded by the engine etc and uses the ram effect at the front of the vehicle to its best advantage. The warm air is extracted at a place where the outside pressure is at a minimum. The separate ducts(12) between the cowls and the ducts can be narrow double skinned bulkheads which serve to brace the engine compartments.
