Twin component non-wovens from continuous - fibres

As one fibre is produced by melt extrusion so a second fibre unaffected by the melt process is fed through the extruder so that the two are deposited on to the carrier belt at the same speed and density. The result is a spun bonded non-woven with the characteristics of both fibres, and the two are evenly dispersed through the fabric.
