<p>The filter element is made from corrugated paper. In order to increase the surface presented to flow the filter paper has transverse folds. These folds act as spacers in holding the corrugations apart. The corrugations are modified so that alternate grooves are shallower than their neighbours. These filter elements are made at high production rates from ordinary filter paper.</p> |
