Mixed provender esp for pigs.with improved economic utilisation, contains 5-40, pref. 20% sand of 0.02-0.1 mm grain size which has been pasteurized or sterilised and intimately mixed with fat and/or oils; carbohydrates and vegetable proteins, vitamin B 12, fish solubles, and other minor ingredients. H2O-content of sand and other components is not over 10 and pref. 5% max. Fat at 75 degrees C is sprayed on to sand at 75 degrees C pasteurised in drum drier, and sand passed to mixer where maize, barley etc. are added. |
