Continuous control of mixing of chips or fibres with binding agent is effected by volumetrically dosing the solids and binding agent into a mixer and subsequently checking final mixture by weighing. Dosing quantities are preferably small, e.g. 1/500 to 1/1000 of hourly production, so that vibrations in ascertained weight of chips or fibres dosed by volume, can be used as basis for adjusting dosing rates. |
