PURPOSE:To print characters in an enlarged natural form in the printing of address data and others within a given area even when a small character size is selected because of a large number of characters to be printed and of a limited printing area. CONSTITUTION:Address data including adresses and names of adresses is stored in an address region 3-2. CPU 1, which prints the address data in a corresponding printing area according to each composing data, judges a character size on the basis of the number of characters in each composing data and the size of the corresponding printing area. When the specified character size is smaller than that of a standard size which is selected in advance for the corresponding printing area, the character size is enlarged. |
