Verfahren und Anlage zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung von Aminoalkylenphosphonsaeuren

Title cpds. are prepd. from amines/amine chlorohydrates, a carbonyl cpsn. and a trivalent P cpd. The components are added simultaneously and continuously pref. in stoichiometric quantities, in at least two stages connected in series. The gas which forms is eliminated. The temp. in the first stage is 30-90 degrees C (pref. 40-60 degrees C) and the boiling temp. is maintained in the second stage. The reactants are reacted in volumes such that times of reaction in the first and second stage are not 10 mins. and between 30 and 120 mins. (pref. 60 mins.) respectively. The product is then removed in a continuous manner. Process gives an economical method of manufacturing aminoalkylenephosphonic acids, which are important complexing agents for polyvalent metals, which are in turn used as additives for liquid cleansing cpsns.
