<p>Tankers of the known type having at least one washing device with jets supplied by a feed pipe and suspended at the end of this pipe so that they can be displaced over the whole height of the tanker, the arrangement being such that the washing device is fixed with respect to translatory motion, on a support comprising at least two sliding bearings running on at least two tie rods stretched between the upper and lower walls of the tanker. The support is fabricated at least in part from an electrically conducting material to ensure the flow away of electrostatic charges between the washing device and at least one of the two sliding bearings and the vertical tie rod on which it runs is fabricated, at least in part, in an electrically conducting material to ensure that the electrostatic charges are discharged to the tanker walls.</p> |
