PURPOSE:To eliminate a background line being a cause to mis-operation by adopting the structure of a light collection surface without partial reflection and weakening the reception sensitivity of a light incoming from a specific direction so as to give directivity to the optical receiver. CONSTITUTION:The optical receiver 1 is made up of a light receiving sensor 2, a container case 3 and a signal processing circuit contained in the container case. Then a light collection face 5 forming a light collection face 4 being recessed container case as a bowl so as not to reflect light is provided and the size of the light collection face is an angle alpha(0 deg.<alpha<=360 deg.) around the light receiving sensor 2. Furthermore, a base plate mount claw 6, a deviation preventing notch 7 formed by giving a recess to part of the base late mount claw 6, a power supply terminal, a GND terminal and an output terminal 8. Thus, even when a light disturbing an infrared ray signal required for remote control is emitted from a prescribed direction at all times, the reception of the disturbing light is suppressed and malfunction of a remote commander is considerably reduced. Furthermore, when a light from a specific direction is undesired to be received by the convenience of the user, the light is hardly received. |
