PURPOSE:To deal with a card loss notice and an entire recovering procedure by regulating the transactions of a lost card by a card transaction regulation cancel control means, issuing a substitute card, and canceling the regulation of transactions after the lost card is found. CONSTITUTION:When a customer selectively inputs the card loss procedure items displayed on a CRT 12, a CPU 21 confirms the collation data on the account number, the password number, etc. Thus a center 32 regulates the transactions of the lost cash card to each terminal equipment and then issues a substitute paper card where the loss procedure data are recorded. When the lost card is found, both the found card and the substitute card are accepted. Then the center 52 confirms the collation of data via the CPU 21 and cancels the regulation of the card transactions to output the regulation cancel signal to each terminal. Thus it is just required to carry out the input operations to report the card loss and the recovering procedure of the card transaction. Then the service counter work can be surely saved. |
