PURPOSE: To provide an improved system and method for automatically inspecting a computer software including a regression inspection. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with an interface device for communicating with a system (SUT), to which a software to be inspected is loaded, to be inspected, memory device for storing an input to be supplied through this interface device to the SUT and storing an expected output to be put in from the SUT corresponding to that input, and a comparator for showing difference between the expected output and a real output. This interface device is provided with a device for sampling contents in the frame buffer of the SUT. This method is provided with a step for communicating with the SUT through the interface means, step for storing the input to be supplied through the interface means to the SUT and storing the expected output to be put in from the SUT through the interface means corresponding to that input, and step for showing the difference between the expected output and the real output by comparing this expected output with the real contents in the frame buffer of the SUT. |
