PURPOSE:To perform an operation even when a fault occurs in one or plural operation units by performing processing by simulating an operational element in which a normally operable operational element in the same operational element is abnormally completed when abnormality occurs. CONSTITUTION:The operation units 105a-105d, 106a-1O6d in the operational element are operated as grid coupling type parallel computers in an ordinary operation, and parallel computers in which the operational elements are grid- coupled are operated as the grid coupling type parallel computers as a result. When the fault occurs in the operation units 105a-1O5d, 106a-106d, a fault detector 201 detects the fault, and notifies the fact to the operation units 105a-105d, 106a-106d in which no fault occurs in the operational element. The operation units 105a-105d, 106a-106d in which no fault occurs read out a state immediately before the fault occurs from a memory device, and they are returned to such state, and perform the operation to simulate the operation units 105a-105d, 106a-106d in which the fault occurs. |
