<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily sticking decorative wallpaper to one side wall body of cantilever stairs with excellent workability. <P>SOLUTION: The cantilever stairs are composed of a support tool 1 supported as a cantilever by a support bolt 3 implanted in the wall body and a box-shaped footstep 4 detachably installed on this support tool 1. The method for decorating the one side wall body of the cantilever stairs is a decorative method of the wall body of the cantilever stairs for sticking the decorative wallpaper 6 to the wall body after cutting out the abutting part periphery of the decorative wall paper 6 of the support bolt 3 projecting to the wall body.
