Compression moulded plastic plates - stripping from sheet metal press plates

Plastic plates e.g. for use as floor tiles are prepd. by hot pressing plate-type blanks, by superimposing alternately the blanks and metal sheets and compressing the resultant stack, such that the inner metal sheets adhere more strongly to the plastic, plates than the outer sheets. Separation of the plates and metal sheets is effected by first removing the outer metal sheets and subquently withdrawing the plastic plates from the inner metal sheets.
