Bendable plastics soft toy is manufactured with a wire inlay which can be laid into a recess in the parting surface of a half figure part with its ends spaced from the contour of the toy, is effected by first injection moulding a half of the toy, with integral clip like holders into which the wire inlays are clipped after the half is removed from the mould. The other half is then injection moulded onto the first half. Large wire inlays can be anchored without difficulty in the toy, and injection moulding is trouble free, without any adhesion steps. |
