PURPOSE:To improve measurement accuracy and to reduce noises due to electrostatic influence by arranging a light reception part nearby a capillary. CONSTITUTION:The light from a light emission part 4 which is passed through the capillary 2 held at a detection part 3 is detected by the light reception part 5. An electric field is produced at the periphery of the capillary with a high voltage applied to the capillary 2. The detection part 3, on the other hand, is made of a conductive material at the part adjoining to the capillary 2 and grounded. The electric field is therefore converged on the conductive part in the detection part 3 and the electrostatic influence upon the light reception part 5 is reduced. Consequently, even when the light reception part 5 which takes a measurement with high accuracy is put close to the capillary, noises based upon the electrostatic influence are small. |
