The inlet edge 3 may be curved, as shown, or stepped, Fig.3a (not shown). As shown in Fig.4b, recirculation of air to the delivery side of the blower occurs between the guide walls 5, 6. Instead of being connected to the guide wall 6, the adjacent casing wall may be connected to the guide wall 7 to provide additional recirculation or to the guide wall 5 to eliminate the recirculation. |
