Pressure plate separator for multi-layer press - has pick-up shoes with pivoted suction pads to roll sheets off stack

The multi layer press has layers of paper and plastic patterns arranged between stainless steel sheets, and pressed as one stack. In order to separate the layers after pressing there is a jig (1) with two pick-up shoes (4, 5) on rocking supports. The outside edges of the shoes have suction pads (6, 7) which are pressed down onto the top sheet. The shoes are then rocked to bend the top sheet away from the stack, from the outside edges and ease the lift-off.
