A cardboard box for an electric drill consists of a bottom and side walls and a hinged cover with slots positioned opposite each other in a plane between three side walls. In the slots is inserted a sliding part with instructions and fitted with a pocket. The sliding part is divided by a fold into an information part and inserting part and the pocket is positioned in the information part. The inserting part and the information part are produced from one piece of a band. The information part consists of a double wall formed by folding the band over 180 deg. against the opposite side of the inserting part. The free end of the band near the fold is glued and a side vertical to it closed by gluing. The size of the pocket is determined by further adhesive strips. One pocket wall at the pocket opening has a cut out.
