<p>The leaf-spring contact relay has a coil/body and one or more contact strips coated with insulating material. There are mating grooves and/or protrusions in or on the body and strip, so that they can be fitted together. The grooves or protrusions can be at the edges of the body head, and the central portion of the body can be star-shaped, to act as support for the spring contacts. Openings can be formed in the edges of the body head, through which the contact sockets fit. The terminal pins can protrude outside the insulating material on both sides, those on the one side fitting in a printed circuit. Those on the other are bent so that they lie opposite the leaf spring contact ends, so as to make the electrical connections.</p> |
