<p>A practising installation for tennis includes a belt conveyor which transports tennis balls horizontally as well as vertically towards a ball catapult. The conveyor consists of a single belt (11) which is guided by two outside pulleys (19) for the horizontal movement. At the centre, two more pulleys (16, 17) take the belt upwards where two further pulleys (21, 22) form the vertical ball elevator track. Behind the conveyor installation and on either side of it, slack netting is provided. In this way, the balls which are returned by the player towards the catapult, are collected and deflected towards the horizontal channel of the base conveyor.</p> |
