<p>A motorised camera includes shutter 24, shutter release member 2, and a photographing lens located in front of shutter 24. Electric motor 16 is operable to wind on film 7 and control means including reciprocable member 40 is operable to sequentially control release of shutter 24 and operation of motor 16. Cover 60 is mounted for automatic movement relative to the lens so that, in a closed position, the cover 60 is located in front of the lens to protect it when not in use. Spring 41 is operable, on actuation of shutter release member 2, to move cover 60 into an open position to expose the lens to incident light, and motor driven means 63 and 64 are provided to return cover 60 to its closed position after shutter 24 has been released. The drive from motor 16 to components 63 and 64 is transmitted by reciprocable member 40 which is arranged so as to have a constant stroke. <IMAGE></p> |
