The cleaning fluid is supplied under high pressure by a piston pump. At least one of the pistons (4) supports at one end an attachment (21) with a smaller cross-sectional area compared to the remaining pistons. This attachment (21) dips from the first pump chamber (5) for the cleaning fluid into a second pump chamber (22) for the cleaning chemicals which is provided with inlet and outlet valves (24,25). The inlet (26) of this pump chamber (22) is connected by a pipe (28) to the chemical supply (29) whilst the outlet (27) is connected by a pipe (31) to the pressure line (14) which conveys the cleaning fluid. The action of the pistons ensure the water and chemicals are supplied and mixed with min. delay and loss of pressure.
