摘要 The invention relates to an electronic measuring device consisting of measuring heads, a measuring amplifier, an averaging integrator, a display and control circuits, which is predominantly used in the size control of centreless grinding machines having the measuring point arranged on the tool track. Reliable measured values are obtained by averaging independently of arbitrary interruptions of the measuring surface. The object of the invention is to make use of measuring heads having a damped measuring lever and of a lifting device so as to link different functional units in such a way that an averaging integrator of known design outputs a measured value whenever there is no interruption of the measuring surface over the measuring time. According to the invention, the electronic measuring device contains two comparators which compare the damped falling measuring signal with an upper threshold value and with a variable comparison value, which initiate averaging when the measuring lever is placed against the workpiece, and which in the event of an interruption of the measuring surface control a scanning motion of the measuring lever by reduction of the comparison value in stages until the measuring lever reaches a measuring surface or a third comparator breaks off the scanning operation. <IMAGE>
