PURPOSE:To simplify the configuration of a data transmitting device connected in series to a transmission line by making a computer execute the transmission/ reception and distribution of data. CONSTITUTION:Even if a switch 7 is closed, a control part 10 repeats a transmission signal, stores the output of a receiver 6 in a shift register 1 and, if the contents read from the shift register 1 are the data to be transmitted to the titled device, distributes these data appropriately to respective devices. When said contents request data transmission, the control part 10 opens the switch 7, closes a switch 9 and transmits data from the shift register 1 to a loop transmission line 1a through the switch 9 and a driver 8. After completing the transmission, the switch 9 is opened, the switch 7 is closed and the data received from the transmission line 1a are inputted to the shift register 1. |
